August 26: It is our honor to have Rev. Arthur Joachim speak to our club. He is 83 years old and to date has run 2,501 races. He will be driving over an hour to share his stories, be sure not to miss this very inspirational speaker! Buehler's River Styx.
September: Joe Booth, wheelchair athlete. Joe has graciously agreed to be our speaker for this month. Joe has competed in marathons and most recently in club race. He has a very inspirational story and is such a wonderful guy. You won't be disappointed you came to hear his talk.

Run for Grace and Andy: hosted by Hiram College. Sept. 27th at 8:30 am. This race is 3.3 miles around Hiram Square. This race could not have a better cause. In March of 2006, students Grace Chamberlain and Andy Hopkins were killed by a drunk driver with 11 prior DUI's. Evan DaSiva survived and is a senior this year. Run for the Trails 5k: 9 am Sept 1. Online registration at active.com or a printable form at www.villageofseville.com . Question to dg56@aol.com. This is a very favorable course and a well run event. Many club memebrs have done this event and all give it a thumbs up! This event is put on with great efforts by club member Bob Daniels.
Madzy 5k: 5k and dog walk. Sept 28th at 8:30 am. This is for a great cause! Funds go to helping students at Berea who cannot afford athletic fees for the "pay to play" athletic programs. Don't let our young athletes down. Remember how much fun high school track and cross country were back in the day? They deserve the same memories. St. Haralambos 5k: Sept 9th at 9 am. Funds go to church renovation fund. Canton area race. Question directed to alex@stharalambos.com Race fees include reduced child fees (kids under 8 are $5, 8-12 are $10) why not get the whole family out for a run?
